Our Purpose

Bridging the Gap Between Talent and Opportunity

The Creative Workforce Development Institute is a Colorado 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing hands-on technical training in creative manufacturing. We serve individuals who face barriers to traditional employment, equipping them with the skills, certifications, and experience needed to enter — and advance in — skilled trade careers.

Our programs are built around real production environments. Trainees don't just learn theory — they learn by doing, working alongside experienced mentors on live projects in screen printing, commercial embroidery, and precision laser cutting.

Founded in Aurora, Colorado, CWDI was created to serve the local community by addressing a clear and persistent gap: accessible training for creative manufacturing careers that lead to stable, sustainable employment.
